Well. I've finally succumbed to writing a blog. It has been on the horizon for a while, the threat has been lingering like in a grey cloud (1 Kings 18:44-45) and has now darkened the skies.
Only hopefully it will do the opposite and bring some enlightenment. Well that's the general idea behind this I think!
When I was contemplating this whole blog thing a month or two back, ideas were whizzing around my brain like gnats on a dusky evening (only pausing to bite me to bits during football training annoyingly).
Do I stick to my comfort zone and write about things i could easily fill pages with?
Do I stick to one subject and make it a topical blog?
Do I make it a spiritual blog?
Do I make it funny, informative, edgy, controversial?
Time will tell which direction it really heads, but my aim is to have something of an amalgamation of my life. Only jazzed up to make it sound exciting!! Hopefully it will make interesting reading, you might even learn something useful (unlikely but possible), or maybe just entertaining.
Whatever it works itself out to be, one thing i hope it won't work out to be is a ranting whinging blog full of pessimism and negativity. Someone else can do that, or most probably has already done that.
I will try to balance it so it isn't all just technical bludgeoning about resurfacing schemes or self glorifying outrageous bragging!
